近くに暖流がないため小笠原の春は意外と寒いです。今年の3月も例年のように涼しい日が多かった中、4月に入りようやく春らしい日もありビーデの花も咲き始めました。
そして、昨日は風もなく春らしい陽気の一日でした。そんな穏やかな日に私の次女と同じ歳の娘さんと新婚旅行中のホットなカップルを石門にご案内しました。
1が月ほど前から蕾を持ちはじめたセキモンノキもようやくこの陽気で数輪開花を始めたり、シマギョクシンカの開花等石門にもようやく春の到来を感じる一日でした。
今日は昨日と変わって天気は下り坂ですが南風で暖かい日になりそうです。母島の海でイルカに会えるといいですね。
